Does a technical translation have to be sworn?

It depends on the purpose. If the document is going to an authority, court or certification body — yes, a sworn translation with a stamp is required. For internal company purposes, e.g. reading an instruction manual, a standard translation is sufficient.

How long does it take to translate a user manual?

It depends on the volume. A short manual (up to 10 pages) is usually translated within 1 working day. Extensive machine documentation (50+ pages) takes 3–5 days. Faster turnaround is possible with the express service — individual enquiry.

Is the original layout of the document preserved?

Yes — we aim to preserve the original structure, chapter numbering and table layout. For documents with graphics and diagrams, captions and labels are translated.

Do you translate automotive documents?

Yes. A significant part of our practice involves automotive documents: TÜV reports, Zulassungsbescheinigung Part I and II, COC certificates, ADAC expert reports, type approval documentation. We have an extensive DE/EN/NL terminology database in this sector.
